IN THE WAKE

Commissioned by Dayton Dance Initiative, In the Wake is a work for 2 dancers. 

In the Wake is a reflection on revisiting childhood and all that comes with it: the joy, trauma, loss, triumphs and wonder.  As the dancers enter their childhood bedrooms, artfully constructed by painter Hannah Kasper Levinson, metaphor resounds and is unforgiving in its honesty.

In the Wake premiered in June 2023 at The Arts Annex in Dayton, Ohio.
