Commissioned by Dayton Ballet, Causeway is a work for 11 dancers.

Causeway draws inspiration from the intricate mirror embedded sculptures of Iranian artist, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian.  She pairs Western Abstraction with Persian cut glass mosaic techniques that reflect, dance and draw one in.  Causeway is a meditation on the individual and the collective within the cataclysmic events of our world, and the inevitable labyrinthine journey we must dare to take towards oneself and others.

Causeway premiered in October 2021 at the Victoria Theater in Dayton, Ohio.
