Commissioned by the Dayton Ballet, I’ll Meet You There is a work for 8 dancers.

“How would you dance immediately following your death?”  This is the central question examined through the lens of the Tibetan Buddhist belief in the Bardo, the transitional state between death and rebirth.  As the performers reflect, connect and transform, memories of their previous life imbue their movement, while hope in the limitless possibilities of their next life, propel them through space and towards each other.

I’ll Meet You There premiered in February 2023 at the Victoria Theater in Dayton, Ohio.
